    Chris - a fox 'makes a mess of a hen house' as you put it, for fun, they are one of the few animals that do kill for fun. You clearly have not seen a 'hen house' after a fox has got in there to speak so lightly of it. I have. But then hens are not as cuddly appearing as foxes....

    You mention blood lust.

    I have no interest in fox hunting and never been to a hunt but I did go hare coursing as a child with my dad who bred and raced greyhounds.

    I never did see any blood lust. I did see people watching and enjoying the run of the dogs and cheering on the dogs. Indeed I remember hares being cheered as well when they escaped after giving the dogs a particularly good run. One of which sped past me 6 feet away once. I suspect that fox hunting is the same and your emotive language has as much truth in reality as Dr Who.
