As the world waits for Kate Middleton (who?) to reveal her wedding dress a more serious debate is going on in Dave Camerons household. Earlier this week DC said he would be wearing a lounge suit and not the customary top hat and tails. A move I think was to illustrate he is a man of the people (cobblers) however in a long line of uturns that this government has already performed it would appear that he WILL wear tails after all.
Ooh it's sooo exciting...not

Im not fully au fait with this story but Downing St have categorically denied it was a u-turn. Neither Downing St nor the Conservatives do u-turns on anything. "The Lady is not for turning!" said one previous incumbent and DC is a splinter from that particular block of wood.
Therefore Marek you can take it as gospel that Conservatives do not do u-turns
except perhaps on Education matters, the NHS and its various aspects, the forrestry sell-offs, military matters....I could go on but feel tired at the prospect of writing out such a long list!!lol

Who really cares whether it is a u-turn or what he wears so long as it is not his birthday suit.

I am surprised...I thought you would have loved to see the tory toff pin up boy in the duff. It would probably be the only time that he appears in public without concealing anything.

Flashmans first year. courtesy `The Week``/rvh
Has been ambitous but has badly bungled some of his reforms/policies and inevitably the cuts have made him many enemies.
Has reputation of being high handed when brushing off questions at PMQs.
Ministers describe his dismissive wave of the hand when ever a conversation becomes focasted on the detail of an initiative.Perhaps thats why his NHS plans are a disaster and his policies have seen the economy stagnate/flatline for six months and why so many policies have `U` turned...................ill-conceived policies.
Polls often show that although a strong leader and looks the part they also think he is arrogant, out of touch and not on the voters side.
Tom Browns school days portray him as a cane whielding bully, coward and cheat.
Some cartoonists see him more a colourful, sexy and swaggery than jaundiced Clegg.
The Guardian says he has played a blinder. He built a Coalition which is not so much an Alliance as a ``Political Detention Centre for Liberal Democrats``turning them into the ``Fall Guys``for the carrot of AV.
He seems imune to bad news on the economy...Perhaps he might wake up to late
Flashman......................Osbourne....................Wish you were here.

What is it in your background Reg that has made you feel so inferior to those with a lot of money? Your sense of bitterness, inferiority and envy comes across in a lot of your postings.

Barry please don't attack your political opponents like that. Reg is a decent bloke and he did not deserve your post #13.

I do not deny that he is a decent bloke, Peter and it is not an attack on him. That is a comment regarding what comes across in his posts.

Sorry Barry but I think Reg deserves an apology and a deletion of post 13.
