..about it being time for Skinner to draw his pension....
This unnecessary and pointless heckling of the Black Rod on a dignified and formal occasion proves the point.

Yes - it was inappropriate to do that on a dignified ceremonial occasion. The man made a fool of himself, not that this is unusual but there is a time and place.
No idea where you get that 'Cameron lost his sense of humour' Brian - Cameron said nothing only that ignorant fool Skinner did.

I agree Barry it was a stupid thing to do. What he should have shouted was something like "Scrap the climate change act" or "Green policies kill people".
A major disappointment and a great chance missed.
What is interesting to note in the Queen's speech is the little tag line most of us missed which concerned the libel laws.
"Scientists will also be given better protection against libel claims if they have published their material in peer-reviewed journals".
Surely they're not preparing themselves for a multitude of lawsuits against climate scientists when the global warming scam really is exposed for what it is?
I'm sure Barry can give a balanced opinion on that.

Actually it has to be said that if anyone made unnecessary and pointless heckling it was Milliband. This joker shouted about fuel bills and what was the government to do about it, fuel poverty, increased cost of living blah, blah, blah.
So, erm, tell me Ed whose policies contribute hundreds of pounds every year on our fuel bills via environmental policies? Yes your's you complete herbert.
What a complete twerp.

Philip, because of climate change, we are experiencing strange things:
One minute there is a drought, the next minute we have the wettest Spring in 95 years.
This sounds like a double dip recession!
