Keith - you fail at the first hurdle - the Chinese consumers are buying luxury British goods from cars to tea, yes that right, a British tea company is selling their luxury product to China.
You are well behind the curve in what is happening in that market.
We are seeing an essential change in the Chinese market moving from capital investment led growth to a consumer economy with consumer led growth. This is a healthy development for the UK.
Did you know that some regions of China have a labour shortage and are important labour from other parts of Asia.
Did you also know that wage are significantly increasing in China and that is pushing up consumer demand - a great development for the UK.
The old China you harp in about is a thing of the past alongside the old Communist ideology - they are now the most capitalist of all countries and their consumers are starting to reap the benefit as can we. We have some lessons to learn from them about freeing the markets and allowing business to compete while they still need to learn more about an open government - that will come and is an increasing force.
