Surely this is only fair? Far-sighted and fair, oh yes, only fair. Why should mere, here today and gone tomorrow, politicians hog the lime-light, that cannot be fair can it?
Perhaps this could be done in time for all those famous and (self) important VIPs getting to the Old Bailey on ludicrous charges of child molestation, now that would be worth watching. I wonder if the OB has a ticket office?

TV cameras inside criminal courts is a terrible notion. Somebody should reassure the minister that courts ARE open to the public, even for boring cases.
J-Judy provides fun enough for both sides of the Atlantic, I think.
But when, as a Government, you have nothing either positive or worthwhile to say, gimmick is pretty much all that is left.
