  Not so much chicken and egg as pheasant and shot.
  
  Those houses are beautiful but really complicated internally. Personally, with a biggish family and a growing business I would love to take on one of the properties, but they will need a lot of work done to get them to a habitable state. But so worth it! And to attract a few well-heeled people to Dover would be fab. The shops are as we all know disappointing but perhaps, with the right entrepreneurial spirits attracted and some proper, creative, support from local reps, we can dream.....?
