Must be 5 years that these stunning properties have been empty and no sign of anybody being interested. Close up the fabric of the building is struggling with pigeons able to come and go at will.
The sale was going through an agent at one time but unless DHB are advertising elsewhere they must be waiting for a billionaire property developer to pass by and write down the e mail address.

DHB allegedly spent £250k on these buildings about 3 years ago. Money down the gurgler as far as I can see. But I'm sure under the terms of their lease, KCC (the previous occupants) ought to have made everything good before vacating as this is usually a condition in a full repairing and insuring lease of commercial property.

That was firm from Ashford that just tarted up the outside nothing else. Bearing in mind the location it is likely that a slate or two have been moved along during storms leaving pigeons the opportunity to gain entry. The stair wells are full of litter, pigeons droppings and feathers. The doorways are being slept in going by the fragrant arome of Eau de la urine in some of them.

As they have not sold they are either to expensive or some covenant or detail in the sale contract that is putting buyers off or possibly DHB are using them as a tax loss in some way.

Have not read the 'small print' but look seriously cheap (even for Dover). Location, location, location is great.
Close to rail, seafront and DWDW (remember the grand plan is housing).
Have seriously suggested to daughter and would think about myself if didn't have money tied up in other stuff.

£150,000 for a one bed flat that does not have sea views but is near the main road to the port which is used 25hrs a day by noisy lorries is not my idea of "seriously cheap".

I think the road noise will not be an issue there. The flats are in a relatively quiet location with parking and some original features. Quite attractive but I will stick with my VP flat.

Ground floor so only glimpses of the sea but the views are very good over the town and it is quiet up here.
