  Dont forget to put this one in your diary guys...very successful clean-up campaign now for a number of years...
  
  One of the items highlighted previously during this campaign was the social habit of balloon releasing on a large scale. This became popular for a while. I remember it was done here in town to mark the launch of the Dover Festival. I have a picture somehwere in the archives that one of the chaps sent me...hundreds of ballooons but just seven people at the launch but there we are. This activity is now frowned upon in nature circles as all that rubber can get tangled up with the wildlife and very often does. Im sure locals have taken note of same.
