Prior to reading this post I had driven through the Market Square and was horrified to see a 'burger van' outside Barclays Bank. Is this what we we should be offerring our visitors and residents? Amina's would have been expected to pay all those dues required of a static business whereas these mobile caterers would have limited expenses and overheads. Our representatives should be ensuring that static traders don't face unfair competition from these carbuncle traders.

I most definitely am, I sincerely hope that it is here without permission and is removed quickly. If it is here with the appropriate permission then I would despair for the image of the town.

i think you are being a bit negative here ken, the only problem i can see is that when a visitor wants to take a photo of it the fountain gets in the way.
