  Can't remember where it was mentioned as being closed..... there is an Invite to Tender in the paper this week for the cafe at the end of the Prince of Wales Pier
  
  I guess the attraction has been rather reduced in recent years - no Hovercraft or Jetfol flying past nor the trainferries
  Been nice knowing you :)

  maybe the stewed tea and cheap coffee played a part in its downfall.

  I'm sure the lease won't be too long as it will be cut in half with the Western Docks development - some-time away admittedly.
  
  There must be some commercial value as a cafe, but whoever takes it on, will have to promote/market it better than it has been.
  
  The views are better at the end of the pier than the Sea Sports Centre (and they're very good); the exercise of walking there and back will do you good - a very bracing walk too.

  The problem last summer was, one minute it was open, the next it was shut and so on. I gave up in the end. But as Roger has mentioned above, it needs good marketing, but with the current plans of short term use, would anyone have any interest in making a go of it?
  Tell them that I came, and no one answered.
