Its not just the BBC though BarryW, he seems to have enjoyed quite a run of popularity. People clearly like him, perhaps he is just the user friendly face of politics, or at least he was before he joined the government and along with the rest of the Libdems did a triple back flit flip flop on their previous positioning.
Out of this Coalition its worth noting that the Conservatives appear to be getting stronger. Cameron seems to have settled into premiership very well, where the LibDEms look completely 'out to lunch'. I dont think people will forgive them for their u-turnings.
Keef mentions about a new election if it was held right now...I think we would get a very different result with the Libdem vote vapourisng, my feeling is the Conservatives would win straight if held again right now as Labour badly need to regroup. Their new wave of leaders havent slotted in just yet. The old guard of Jack Straw and Alastair Darling are looking like very old news indeed.
