Dream on.
Speaking as a right winger, Hammond is of the right.

I think the Tory Party is near to splitting up.
If we assume that the LibDems won't get anywhere near as many seats as last time at a G.E., and that the Conservatives are losing support, then with whom would the Tories make a new coalition?
Cameron is to all effect a left-winger, very close to Labour in his policies, so he will try to implement a left-wing supremacy in the Government.
He might be preparing his future comeback by planning to join forces with Labour.
The Conservative party in Scotland has already prepared to break away and form a new party, so it is not fantasy here to suggest that the Tory party elsewhere in Britain will do the same.
The PM's decisions are based on left-wing policies, and everyone in Parliament knows it. The mask has fallen!

Lots of fantasies coming out here.
Even so, they are falling away like sparks from a sparkler................right and less-right are on shaky ground at the moment. They are experiencing the usual second wave wobble.

dave is safe as houses in his job, however much the right of the party distrust him they know he is the only one of their flock that would get them re-elected.
we hear a lot about the european issue and how the blues are losing votes to ukip but at the end of the people do not put that on their list of priorities when they come to vote.

Barry's post 2 was just a red herring. We all know that Hammond is not of the right wing.

# 2. Hammond not a right winger but he is a busy midfielder who also has contacts with `Atlantic Bridge`the right wing lobbyists financial network of Micheal Hintze.!!!!!
The Lobby industry is a £ 2 billion a year turn over.
Mr Hintze CEO of CQS hedge fund is close to a number of senior Tory figures and has donated £ 1.5 million to the Party.
William Hague is also aided by `Atlantic Bridge`who paid for the New York launch of Hagues Book in the US.
Fox-Werrity is a gift to those who,after MP`s expenses,are suspicious of politicians
Liam Fox conduct was the result of no one being willing,or able to stand up to him...........Flashman not taking on right wing?
Tories all in it together.

by all account the right of the party are concerned about mr hammond being at defence due to his friendship with george the axe.
they suspect that the former will give in to more defence cuts.

Reg the right' is not a single homogenious group as life is simply not that easy any more.
There are the libertarian right
The authoritarian right
Then you get the neo-Con right
The economic right but socially liberal
The social right but economically liberal - and so on.
I am personally of traditional right, with a belief in 'sound money' among other things.
All life's rich pattern.
Phillip Hammond is most certainly of the right economically, which suits me fine because the priority in Cabinet must be economic matters and he strengthens the common sense approach. You will find most of us on the 'right' would agree on that though some might prefer a 'neo-Con' like Liam.
