Don't know if anyone else has been following the story but basically a number of their staff had presented them with forged documents to show they were allowed to work in the UK. The documents were so good that the Border Force said no action would be taken against Byron and asked them to get all the miscreants in one place so they could nick them all in one go. Byron then announced a training day for those involved and the Border Force arrived to do their work.
Since then they have been pilloried on social media and a hate campaign by rent-a-mob has led to cockroaches and other pests being thrown into restaurants en masse, totally unfair on Byron in my view.

To add to this I see that the Mayor of London is planning a crackdown on 'rogue mini cab' drivers!
One wonders where the estimated 500,000+ illegals, overstayers and workers in breach of conditions in London are going to be chased from employment next?

There has been talk of a crackdown on mini cabs in London for about 25 years but no action so far. Most of the drivers speak little English, the cars would fail MOT's and drivers rarely have insurance.

Hygene doesnt seem to matter either.I,ve actually seen a delivery car in Dover with 5 people in it and probably all were smoking.Dont know who they were delivering for but definatly delivering takeaways, saw them round the town all evening.Dont think i,d want my food delivered in that way unless you want it smoked.
