  Walking into town earlier I was surprised to see how many people were waiting at bus stops apparently unaware that we don't have buses on New Year's day. Even more surprising was that all looked young enough to be savvy with their smart phones and capable of looking up the Stagecoach website. It appears the older generation simply took a leaflet that has been in holders on buses for weeks now giving holiday timetables or they simply remembered what happens year on year.
