The problem is Brian that ALL passengers can be belligerent at times. Mostly, those will pushchairs/buggies will tuck them in properly. However there is always the exception.

I was getting on a Unibus at Canterbury a few weeks ago. It was one of the old Volvo Olympians (as sometimes on the 89 route here in Dover). It has two steps up and no space for buggies. A lady with a large double buggie tried to get on. The driver asked where she was going, and when told, he suggested that she got the Route 4 at the next stand. This was a new Enviro 400 with no steps and buggie space. She immediately complained that the bus company were discriminating against young mothers.

Most passengers obey the rules but some will always be difficult, even sticking their feet out and making it nearly impossible to get to the back of the bus.

You can't please all of the people all of the time.

    Terry
