Derelict building fire - Dover Location St James Lane, Dover Attendance Ten fire engines, one command support unit, one incident support unit, one height vehicle Less Details ... Details Approximately 60 firefighters are dealing with a serious fire on the first floor of 12 storeys in a derelict former hotel and office building in St James Lane, Dover. The whole building is heavily smoke-logged.
Crews are using eight sets of breathing apparatus, two main jets, two hydrants and an open water feed to tackle the blaze, and are searching for occupants which have been reported.
