20:1580547Brian, as you may see from my `November Arrives` thread, I was up there yesterday at lunchtime and after walking back down via Avo`s and round the marina to the clock tower, I observed the helicopter up the Western Heights. Now, I hope I`m wrong with this but when I was up there, my sister was with me and she text her son in law working in an office below that she was up there and started waving her arms about when he came out. Knowing of the mentality of some, she may have been spotted and someone called the services of someone in distress. It only hovered over there then went.
Tell them that I came, and no one answered.

20:3480565Didn`t notice that it landed Brian. At the same time, both a fire engine and an ambulance car raced up that way, but never saw where they went after heading up Aycliffe.
Tell them that I came, and no one answered.

16:0980690Yes indeed thanks for the info guys and yes I saw the helicopter landing myself too but wasnt sure what for of course. It seemed to be a tricky landing operation as they took their time over it, showing some caution.
