It usually tends to be, according to what we see in the papers, the rather well to do and dare one say it, right wingers, who frequent parties dressed as Nazis. Just look at this latest one, if there was no problem with it, would it be raising such a kerfaffle right across the media.
Examing Hitlers sole in history is I agree something of a fascination, how did he rise to such dizzy heights for one thing, but that is a different matter altogether.
It tends to be those of a rather well off background, some indeed still the 'idle rich' who indulge in dressing up and strutting about, making nazi salutes and so on, look at the pictures. It is extremely offensive to many.
Just pondering further...what if someone came with a Nazi uniform to our party the other night in Blakes and was making Nazi salutes etc. I mention this to put it in context with ordinary daily life
