Actually, Paul, the Sun article is quoting what MPs have said, if you read it, that is.
It's something that could define future British policy, policy that could make the DDC core strategy look rather embarrassing.
As for the census, there was no legal penalty envisaged for people from abroad working here to fill it in and return it.
I guess many did not do so, for whichever reason!
But that said, one of the points I've tried to make, is that many local residents here are in no financial position to buy - or even rent - a house. Being either unemployed, or on a precarious income.
Something the core strategy should take into account, but doesn't.
