Well my budget meal recipes go from a quiche for a pound fifty (two for £3), cheddar cheese sandwich (always cheese on offer 400 grammes for £2 or buy one get one free), plus lettuce or cucumber or even tomatoes if they're from Kent,
or a ready-prepared curry sauce for £1.50 plus long grain parboiled rice which I boil up, and added to it half a can of pinaapple or other canned fruit.
A can of cider in the evening. Cheers
