Dover Arts Development presents the first public preview of WATERMARK
Dover Arts Development (DAD) is proud to present " WATERMARK", the 90-minute feature documentry about Buckland Paper Mill told through the stories of the men and women who worked there. Also in the film is as yet unseen footage of a normal working day in the Mill shot by the late Colin Pritchard, and photographs collected in March 2010 at the story shop opened by Dover Arts Development in Bench Street to record and collect stories and memorabilia about Buckland Paper Mill. Great to see our late forumite star Colin Pritchard mentioned there and being appreciated as his work was very valuable. 1 March 2012 12:53156792It's 11am on Tuesday 6th March Paul. It will be shown in the Connaught Hall not the Stone Hall as mentioned in the press. The DVD will be available to buy for £15 from the DAD stand in the Stone Hall.
The 1961 Ray Warner film and Mike's 2011 Dover film are both being shown at 3pm and 7.30pm on the 5th and 6th.

2 March 2012 21:02157132I'm sitting at home and pre-viewing the DAD film "Watermark" It is brilliant. It's great to see Colin Pritchard taking part as well as a huge number of former workers reminiscing. I'm not sure how many tickets are left but if there are any you ought to grab one.
If you can't get one then the DVD is on sale at the Town Hall on Tuesday.

the general concensus was that the pay was good, the work hard and sometimes boring but with a great social side.
the late colin met his wife to be anne when they were both working there.
