    After approximately 8months the birthing unit at Buckland Hospital is to close. My prediction was 90% correct as I didn't expect it to reopen at all albeit even temporarily.
    Now I challenge Charlie to answer this question:-
    Is the minor injuries to remain open or is there a hidden agenda whereby that it is going to close, possibly with the excuse that there is a lack of staff.
    and part2 work on any new hospital is shelved until 2012, is this work likely to take place?
    The people of Dover deserve to know what is going on regarding the hospital and Mr. Elphicke you need to be 100% honest in your reply should you respond.
