    One of the builders was explaining to us that they used modern mastic in the gaps instead of the moss that would have been used in the original - they should have stuck to what the old folks knew!

    He also explained the real reason for the problems, they had been working up to 2 o'clock at night for the last week to meet the deadline for today.

    If they take their time to do it properly there should be no problems and hopefully this will be in time for the other events that they have arranged.
