  "Illegals coming here, not contributing anything, but demanding everything". Nice bit of bigotry there! It would seem Littlejohns brain-washing techniques are better than I thought..............
  
  For sure there are some "illegals" (who are, incidentally, human beings as well) who rape the system. There are far more who don't "demand" anything, but ask for and are grateful for the opportunity to be safe from the threat of rape and torture for themselves and those members of their family they have managed to liberate with themselves - and worrying and dreaming about those they had to leave behind in volatile and dangerous places.
  
  It is easier to believe in the evil, money-grabbing, criminalised, lying, manipulative stereotype because then we don't have to think about how we can help or how we might contribute to the hardship in other coutries that creates the need for peope to run away from them. Once we humanise the people who take the painful and agonising step of leaving their home and many of the people they care about we have to look with open eyes at what we are.
