Hi I was the one that broke their leg and cracked the other ankle at Western Heights open day 2 weeks ago today(Sunday). Yes it was me howling and on the laughing gas by the moat.
I cant walk or manage crutches because I have a broken right leg and the other ankle is chipped/sprained and cracked. Despite the rumours that apparently were overheard in Dover restaurant that I had only twisted my ankle and was making a lot of noise.
Anyway there are a lot of very old patients here and one needs some knitting wool..if anyone has any and is passing.
In fact if anyone has needles and wool I could teach some of the others to knit. It may give the overworked nurses a bit of peace.

Hey Anne
I am one of the mad women who just helped you into the chair. Sorry you seem to have done rather a lot of damage.

Thanks.. I cant remember which of the 2 ladies you were. One of you very kindly gave me their telephone number in case I needed any help when I got home on the Sunday night !! I haven't been home yet as was in Ashford until last Thursday, I am hoping to move to Deal when a bed becomes available. I cant go back home yet as cannot walk at all.
Someone told me that the ambulance man was telling people that I had only sprained my ankle but neither me or my son think he said that.
Well I am going out in the hospital garden to sunbathe shortly.
Cant believe it was 2 weeks ago today when I had the nasty accident. I think it was you or your friend who heard my leg break? I remember your expressions.
