  They probably are..but one hopes that the staff on MFL, the new Seafrance operation, have learnt their lesson. That ferry company was crippled by losses following strike action from the militant unions but nevertheless staff were shocked when Seafrance closed. Brittany Ferries are losing money too in similar vein..perhaps lessons have not been taken on board in the wider union.
  
  There are Brittany Ferry staff staying in the hotel opposite me..presumably here to help with the tie up between themselves and DFDS as per our frontpage item.
