    I did help set the branch up but I am not a member of it because I am already a member of the Downs Branch and I also many years ago helped in setting up their Social Club which is still going today.We are hoping by bring the new branch into the Town that even more members of the public will join it, you do not need to have been in the army ,etc to come a member.I had nothing to do with the work done to get it in the town so well done to the members that done it.And I will be be coming in at times,
    Some might not know this but Dover set up the very first Branch of the Royal British Legion in the whole of the UK so that is some record for the Town.
