funny you should mention sofas brian, took this a few hours ago in my road at the junction of the folkestone road.
i am informed that this is a traditional part of slovakian culture and not just someone dumping what they don't want anymore.

but it was blocking the alleyway behind clarendon street yesterday

On my way home from a meeting, just as it was getting dusky, I saw something coming towards me down the hill. Imagine my amazement to see five youngsters laughing and waving as they used a two seater sofa to navigate the hill !
