has been announced by gillingham football club that they have dispensed with the services of their manager andy hessenthaler.
we all know of his great successes up at crabble, time for a "bring back the hess" campaign.
need someone to take the petition round though.

without doubt he was the life blood for the club(dover) whilst at the club
and certainly motivated the players.
but they have a new manager at dover who should be given the chance next season to see if he can do well for dover.

No thanks, it never normally works second time around. Hess was good when he was at Dover, but things have moved on and we now have a manager who need to be given a chance once he has selected his own team.
Nicky Forster is our man.

Just think that Forster should get his chance, if he fails then so be it but as to Hess returning even then I would have reservations. Doubt he would want to come back anyway.

i have to admit that i started this thread with tongue firmly in cheek expecting a barrage of abuse due to the circumstances of hessenthaler's leaving and the subsequent poaching of the new manager.
harry and keith have shown themselves to be true supporters by not harping on about the disappointing end to this years campaign and looking to the future.

Plenty of positive announcements from the Club today, season tickets and admission prices froze, under 18's for a fiver, under 11's free and new sponsors, the club has listened and I hope they are repaid with larger crowds, onward and upward.
