Seen on Facebook:
"Brighter Dover Project- A group of local volunteers are determined to brighten up the town by ensuring that the town centre planters remain in bloom all year round. Fantastic work today as the volunteers planted the last of the primulas around the new holly trees. Well done and thank you to all the local businesses, organisations and individuals involved!"
Been nice knowing you :)

sounds like sylvie again, could see her often in the town centre right into the autumn, watering, weeding and generally tending to the flowers.
town councillor pat sherratt was another involved.

what happened about the community garden?
it was supposed to be on the roman lawn but was delayed because the replica bronze age boat people needed the space.

Email From London Fancy Box
I am writing in response to your email regarding the Dover Community Fund. After some discussion our community fund committee has agreed to make a donation to this cause. Rather than just giving money we thought we would also support a private Garden Centre at the same time. We would like to offer £500 worth of Vouchers from the Alkham Valley Garden centre as this centre offers everything you could possibly want to create a lovely garden space from plants and seeds to composts and pots.
The Chief Executive has also asked if you would need more volunteers for your group as we are sure that many people may not know about the Dover garden.
Thank you London Fancy Box
