An Ipswich town fan informred me that on one of ipswich towns web sites not the official one, it was being stated that brian talbot had sold his home and was buying a house in dover!
with the uncertainty with the present dover manager
i wonder if our posters with close links to the dover football club can confirm./deny approaches have been made to talbot?

it was ipswich that he made his mark with in bobby robson's side.
the only managerial role i can remember of his was rushden and diamonds.
buying house down here does suggest a link with the football club.

Talbot was hated by Dover fans when he was with Rushden in our Conference days, big headed comments about us being a small club etc, would be amazed if he was appointed. There is no vacancy anyway.

i know that he was never popular with the other players when he played for arsenal, always thought that the team revolved around him.

Last I heard Brian Talbot was the manager of a club in Malta. Then moved upstairs as Technical Director but that was 2 years ago so dont know if he is still there.
