Paul, Dover's harbour never has been Roman, and has always been a port of Britannia, Britain's first and oldest port.

The Bronze Age boat, based at Dover, was in operation 750 years before Rome appeared out of the Cloaca Maxima.

The Romans did, however, leave their house behind in Dover, freshly painted 'n all, which we have covered in a British dome

The Light-Tower at the Castle Church too is British, on Britannia's Soil.
