    Terry, the question you pose is likely not to be answered (my own personal opinion), as to find out more would probably mean ripping up Market Square, possibly to find a few skeletons hidden in the cupboard.

    I doubt the Council would sanction such conduct for reasons of costs, so I reckon a parson will come and express a prayer and organise a burial to the unknown person, possibly someone who lived thousands of years ago.
