  At the end of the day does it matter if it was GB or maggie that did it???????????????
  what we need is to learn from it, and change things so it cant happen so easily.
  
  I'm no pensions expert but some companies found pensions to expensive as soon did everything they could to withdraw from them, even today many individuald don't have a\company pension, or not one to write home about.
  so the company could not go in and steal it(although at times they did try)
  So I do underststand where this debate has come from
  I'v been lucky in the past to have my pension ptotected by trustees working in my interest(and others)
