Boxing day dip.

- 12 December 2014 21:14275620Brighton cancllled their dip for health and safety reasons as there had been a few incidents of people under the influence having to be rescued. One would expect that would happen with a city sized population.
Places like Dover, Deal and Folkestone have much fewer people going into the sea so it is much easier to manage. - 13 December 2014 08:18275626Ah Vic you were always a great character at the Boxing Day dip. Here's a pic from the archives. A gentleman to the end...trying very hard here to do the decent thing and keep Mrs Webb dry ...well you never know, there might be a passing shower !
