    That's exactly the point Howard. I could no more drop the corner of a chocolate wrapper on the pavement than leave rubbish bags on the street as pictured above. Honestly the guilt would be too much. I hate litter and I really hate litter we see on our roads and highways in our district. Which shows how shallow the local authorities thinking on all matters green. Try driving up the Jubilee way for example and see rubbish there that has been lying on the pavement for months and months.
    Tick boxing pure and simple.
    So instead of a concerted effort to make our area better they are happy to coast along until someone, as happened on this forum recently, complains then it's panic stations. "Oh noes it's bad publicity we must be seen to be doing something".
