  Sid if you see the Careline thread in the other section you can see some further discussion on loss of services. Boris may be making cuts as mentioned above but I go along with Sid it is very often services that they are cutting to make the savings. I cannot imagine there are loads of guys and gals sitting in some whitehall office chucking elastic bands at each other all day and playing with their pencils....just waiting for Boris to come along with an axe. This image may have been buyable once upon a time but not anymore. Cuts usually mean a cut in some service or other.
