Boris gets his cable car!

  I know this has been discussed on the forum many times, but I thought forumites might be interested to hear that Boris Johnson has realised his vision for a cable car to be up and running in time for the Olympics. The airline, Emirates, has agreed to sponsor the cable car to the tune of £36 million! That secures a good chunk of the total £60 million cost. Now I know Dover isn't London, but it just goes to show what could be ........

  .... of course, that's if we could actually persude our biggest tourist attraction to stay open!
