  Boris is a lot more shrewd than he appears. He can be deadly serious, but also has a riotous sense of humour. He is not a 'detail man' and as PM would not be tempted to micro-manage, which is the tendency that sank Mr Brown. Under Boris we would get the Boris Island Thames Estuary airport which would help to regenerate much of Kent as well as releasing lots of land west of London for redevelopment. Unfortunately many traditional Tories regard Boris as a loose cannon so his time may not come for a while.
