SUSPECTED illegal immigrants who fled from a lorry at the Western Docks have sparked a police chase in Dover this morning.
Seventeen people are reported to have got off the HGV in the lorry park and run towards the Western Heights.
The Port of Dover Police is working with Kent Police and the Border Force to deal with the situation.
It is understood that 10 have been recaptured - leaving seven on the loose.

The border force is not effective
To much rules and regulation all to much nicely nicely
for instance they stop a lorry in France unload 10, or 20 rag asses and send them on there way, regardless of the damage to the goods or the lorry involved
They need to take a leaf out of the Thai border force rule book;
They would be fed large amounts of truncheon and set to work to pay for the damage.
They wouldn't keep coming back for more.
Force should be force.
Over to tom Or martin P ,to spew cotton wool all over it
