Should have added that this was from the Dover Express February 1916 (on the edge of something else I was copying).
Quite moving the papers from this era that every week put in the photos of guys going off to help the war effort, a lot of them probably never returning...

it doesn't say how young he was,i suspect very young.
not many would have acted like he did if fully mature, rather ironic that he got hospitalised with rheumatism.
