12:4989387Can anyone recomend a good boiler repairman?
My hot water and central heating have gone on the blink (again). The boiler states 'Low Pressure' so I topped it up with water but unlike previous times this has happened, it will not reset. Unfortunately I can't get it insured as it is 15 years old, and the model doesn't qualify under the boiler scrappage scheme.
Getting rather cold here.

13:0889389Phil snap!...if you see the 'gloomy' thread you can see I'm in the same boat this morning, all heat gone, no radiators or anything. Great sound of water gushing around then nothing.
The Gateway residents often use a firm called AT Blackman. I have seen his van here many times...could be one for you. Seems he is a well known local firm and respectable. Good luck.

07:5989481Since I started work in Steve Davis's office in November 2009, I got to know Baldwin and Salter, they have now done a couple of very good jobs (replacing a boiler was one of them) and not charged the earth for them, so I would highly recommend them.
