  Went to the Friday opening night and enjoyed it so much went along again on Saturday. Hard to say what's different with this refurbishment which makes it seem a little more pleasant than before. Hope it lasts and is successful.
  
  Also popped into The Clarendon which was devoid of customers, for a Saturday night that's unusual so I can only assume it was due to their not having any entertainment. It was busy in there Friday evening when they did.
  
  I was initially sceptical about entering The Clarendon but that's only due to it's outside appearance. It's a completely different place once you're inside.
  
  Back to Dover, I'm hearing The Priory Hotel is beginning to take off. The landlord's working hard to encourage new clientele - regular live music being one thing he's promoting.
