Dr Bob is being a little disingenuous. He well knows that Dover has an effective total monopoly of the short sea crossing market for large ferries.

Seafrance would lose more staff and do less maintenance by the sound of that, not sure that would be good for anyone?

not too sure about the single handed mooring either.
bob's brief sounds like a clever trevor, only the best hired.

I assume the ferry companies have something more substantial up their sleeves or they will end up looking pretty foolish and considerably out of pocket!

we do not know who the q.c. for the ferry companies will be yet, i bet it is not someone from legal aid.
whoever it is will put a lot of pressure on the harbour board i am sure.

You have rather taken that out of context Mr McSweeney
I am rather inclined to agree with this.....the Dover Harbour Board as it stands now could not run a p-up in a brewery
