This is silly in the extreme Brian; if you can''t see the difference between a tourist who comes here for a short time, to spend money and someone, low skilled (if any skills at all) and only comes here because they will be financially better off than in their native country - and seldom return, then there's no hope for you.
Here's a piece I received this morning - and it must be the same for all Councils, whether County, District or Reg's favourite:
"Commons hears migration evidence:
Philippa Roe, the leader of Westminster City Council, has told the Commons Public Administration Committee, that migration from Romania is already having quite an impact on her council. She warned the council will be in "serious difficulty" if it does not plan for the mass arrival of immigrants when rules are relaxed. Mrs Roe said most incomers would be "low-skilled" and the council must anticipate "the costs of looking after these people".
