Paul, I have no choice over how you or any other politician invest my taxes, except once in a blue moon at election time. But, since I got back from Nigeria (dec09) the DTIZ project has collapsed, Churchills Hotel has closed, but we are getting a wavey wall on the seafront. If that rates as investment in our future well, I need to read another dictionary for a few definitions because clearly I don't understand the meaning of the word.

The Buckland Mill site is still showing a banner of lies from SEEDA about what is coming (don't forget I've been in Nigeria from 2007-very late 2009, and there has been NO visible change on that eyesore, NONE. THe MFI building, and exNight Club in Castle Street, the Tax Offices, th parade of ex-shops on the seafront, THe Britannia pub closed and so it goes on. But, as I said, we are getting a wavey wall.

As for what makes Deal attractive Colin, well, it doesn't have umpteen supermarkets dragging footfall away from the High Street to the same extent we do in Dover and that allows for a higher retail survival rate there.
