#31. Yes, Reg, I have made up my mind - I made it up many years ago, never to join a political party and never to vote for a candidate whom I have not met personally. That latter one was difficult at the last election because I had met Gwyn, and knew Charlie, Vic and John Brigden personally. Having said that, I support whomever I believe is the best candidate, both before and after he/she is elected. At the last general election I thought Dover desperately needed a change so I voted for Charlie. He had, after all, taken the time to seek us out even before he had been selected as the Tory candidate and talk to us about what we thought was important. But if you knew my voting history over the years you might be surprised.
