Strange as it may seem to his army of followers, he`s not actually quite as popular in foreign climes compared with the UK where he is still remembered with such fondness of course!

6 January 2014 20:01257137Got it in one Barrie, the "cons" far outweigh the "pros" on the Blair list of deeds. Amongst other misdemeaners, this was a guy who in opposition was a eurosceptic and surprise, surprise, once in power and virtually overnight became a europhile. One of his most memorable acts being the surrender of the UK`s annual EU rebate simply to ingratiate himself with his new found friends in the european commission and which has cost this country`s economy almost ten billion pounds whilst getting nothing in return in the way of concessions. Gorden Brown tried his best a bit later on to emulate him of course with his "rock bottom" giveaway sale of our gold reserves. What is it with the labour party and the selling of our country to the EU?
