Some of these bargains aren't what they seem, Argos were selling a lap top yesterday for £.199. 99 down from £.229. 99.
They now say that on Black Friday the price will be £.229. 99 with a free £20 voucher thrown in.

best way to save money.... DONT spent it! It brings out the evil side in human beeings!! I very dislike these kind of " DISCOUNTS" !!! You dont really save anything ....but people fall for it.

Fully agree Heike, i'm surprised people are taken in. The few bargains are had by the most aggressive people that wait for stores to open then barge people out of the way when seeing their target. Most price cuts are illusory, the new year sales are worse when they buy shoddy merchandise in especially.

After seeing videos of people fighting over goods in T**co at whitfield, this seems appropriate.

I always buy things when I want to buy them, rather than when shops want to sell them. And I never buy in a hurry. That way I remain in control.
