  Round here I think all the B feral pigeons and crows have driven most of the small birds away so I no longer sit and watch, luckily sparrows nest in a nearby hedge so their numbers seem about the same as last year. Starling numbers are definitely down, very few blue or great tits and have not seen the wagtail so far on my drive this year which is a shame.
  
  They might be back once all the demolition and building work on the old Sorting Office has finished, I certainly hope so.
